Whalley Takes 3rd in QLD Championship For Moto1 Motorcycles KTM
In her rookie season in senior racing, Darci Whalley took 3rd in the QLD Championship taking place at Queensland Moto Park (QMP) across a massive 4 days of racing from Friday 28th June – Monday 1st July.
Building on her #1 plate and Championship just a few weeks earlier in the Sunshine State MX Series (SSMX), Whalley continues on a very impressive rookie season in Senior racing.
“It feels great to finish 3rd in the QLD Championship. It was a big weekend with so many gate drops and being consistent was extremely important. There’s some things we need to improve on to compete for race wins at a national level and I am going to work on that heading into the final rounds of ProMX in August”, said Whalley.
Darci Whalley and the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Team now turn their focus to the final two rounds of the ProMX Championship in August, where rounds 3 and 4 of the MXW Championship will run alongside the remainder of the ProMX Championship at MX Farm and QMP.
