2nd Overall For Jet Alsop At Traralgon ProMX Round 4

Ride Red Honda rider Jet Alsop continues to build on consistency and momentum with another step forward, claiming 2nd Overall in the MX3 Class at Round 4 of the 2025 ProMX Championship, taking place at Traralgon, Victoria.

Hitting the track with full intentions on the day clear, Alsop would lodge the 2nd fastest time in the MX3 Group 1 Qualifying, claiming a solid gate pick in the process, crucial with the short Traralgon start straight.

A good start in the Opening Moto was met with some mistakes in the first lap, leaving Alsop with a lot of work to do charging from outside of the Top 5. Methodically passing riders on the very challenging sandy ruts of Traralgon, Alsop would cross the finish line in 3rd position.

A better opening lap in Moto 2 would see Alsop set his sights on the front and pass several front runners on his way to 2nd in the Moto and 2nd Overall on the day from Round 4.

“I’m stoked on my progress today and had a lot of fun battling up front”, said Alsop.

“I still need to work on my opening lap sprint speed but we made up solid points in the Championship today and the track was so technical and rough that leaving here with my best result of the season is a great feeling”.

“Thanks to everyone who supports our Ride Red program, we are continuing with the game plan and hitting out stride half way through the season”, concluded Alsop.

Jet Alsop now moves within 4 points of 2nd in the MX3 Class Championship, currently sitting in 3rd with 155 points.
