Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki Take Momentum Into ProMX Round 2 Appin

The Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki Team (Empire Kawasaki) eagerly await the gate drop from Round 2 of the 2025 ProMX Championship, taking place at Appin, NSW, with MX1 star Luke Clout and MX2 contender Ryan Alexanderson ready to tackle the ruts and technical hills of the Macarthur Motorcycle Club.

In the MX1 Class, Luke Clout looks to build on the momentum from Round 1 at Wonthaggi, where he claimed 3rd Overall to kickstart his ProMX Championship Campaign.

“We are in a great position compared to this time last year, leaving Wonthaggi with a podium has set the tone for the season”, commented Clout.

“I love the ruts and hills of Appin and NSW is my home state. The goal was to leave Wonthaggi with solid points and we achieved that, now it’s time to get after it and show the speed I have to challenge for wins”, concluded Clout.

In MX2, new signing Ryan Alexanderson is out for redemption after a tale of what could have been on his debut ride for Empire Kawasaki.

“Considering I was a late addition to the team to fill in for Cambell Williams and his injury, I was happy with my speed at Round 1”, said Alexanderson.

“With that being said, the bike is great and I feel I have a point to prove this weekend to show I belong as a contender in the MX2 Class”, said Alexanderson.

With the MXW Class skipping this round, Taylah McCutcheon will return to action at Gillman SA, for Round 3 of the Championship.

The Penrite Racing GO24 Team Green Kawasaki squad, under the management of Brett Metcalfe, will also look to build on their debut at Wonthaggi.

“It was great to debut our program at Wonthaggi and have a shake down”, said Metcalfe.

“Now all of our riders have a few gate drops in the bank, I’m excited to see what we can achieve at Appin and continue building the Team Green support and presence for the next generation of riders”, concluded Metcalfe.

Round 2 of the 2025 ProMX Championship will take place at the Macarthur Motorcycle Club and the Appin Circuit in VNSW, on Sunday April 13th. The event is broadcast across free-to-air coverage on SBS and streaming platform SBS On Demand along with the ProMX TV livestream coverage.
