Milner Ready For AORC Season Opener With The KTM DM31 Off-Road Racing Team

Daniel Milner is set to take on the 2024 Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) at the season opener this weekend in Roma, Qld, for Rounds 1 & 2.

The Multi-time AORC, A4DE, ISDE and Hattah Desert Race Champion will now be competing under the formation of his own racing program for 2024, with the KTM DM31 Off-Road Racing Team.

Ready to chase the AORC Championship #1 Plate that he vacated at the end of 2021, Milner has learned a lot from his time in the Enduro GP Championship in Europe over the last two seasons and is excited to apply this knowledge to racing domestically here in Australia.

“My time in Europe was great and I learned a tremendous amount as a rider and as a human being, living for two years in Italy with my wife and children” commented Milner.

“There’s no place like home and I’m excited to be back racing at the AORC this weekend. I’ve been back training with the Beatons Pro Formula coaching program for a few months now, I can feel my speed, intensity and sharpness coming back training with the ProMX riders and it has been refreshing to get back into a familiar program after my time in Europe”, said Milner.

“Obviously the big change for this year is that I have partnered with the KTM Group to run my own Team program. At this stage in my career it’s an exciting change for me and we have been able to resume some of my long standing partnerships with brands in Australia along with forging new ones to help us go racing in 2024 and beyond”, Milner concluded.

As the KTM Australia representative in the E2 class aboard the KTM 450 EXC-F , Milner will be joined by his new team mate for 2024, as New Zealand’s Tom Buxton will compete in the E1 class riding on the KTM 250 EXC-F.

The KTM DM31 Off-Road Racing Team will debut at Rounds 1 & 2 of the AORC Championship at Roma, QLD March 9th and 10th.
