Maiden ProMX Overall Win For JPM Motorsports Honda At Toowoomba

The JPM Motorsports Honda Team excelled at Toowoomba at Round 7 of the ProMX Championship. Fresh from claiming their first Moto win just one Round ago at Canberra, the Team surpassed this milestone with another, as MX3 Class rider Jet Alsop took his Ride Red JPM Motorsports Honda to 1st Overall in convincing fashion, whilst Haruki Yokoyama once again scored highly as a leading MX2 Class privateer.

For Alsop in MX3, he continued his momentum from Canberra where he landed his first Moto win of the season, initially struggling in Qualifying at Tooowoomba.

After logging the 6th fastest time in the muddy conditions, the JPM crew made several small changes that lead to big gains in the Opening MX3 Moto, where Alsop would run 2nd for the first half of the Moto, before shifting gears and sprinting away to claim the win at the chequered flag.

After executing a holeshot in Moto 2, Alsop would ride smart, settling for 2nd place and being rewarded with his first Overall Victory of 2025 and the JPM operations maiden Overall win as a race team.

“I’m stoked to take my first win of 2025 and we will keep working as we head into QMP this coming weekend for the Championship Finale”, said Alsop.

With his performance at Toowoomba, Alsop now moves into 2nd position in the MX3 Class Championship with one Round remaining.

In the MX2 Class, Haruki Yokoyama felt right at home in the muddy conditions at Toowoomba, where the Japanese rider would once again show his speed as the leading privateer in the MX2 field.

Yokoyama fought hard for 8-6 Moto scores and 6th Overall, locking in a memorable weekend for the JPM Motorsports Honda team.

Jed Parsons, JPM Team co-owner commented on the weekend’s racing;

“We are so happy to see Jet Alsop’s progress this season and to take our first Victory as a team is a fantastic feeling so early into our journey.”

“Haruki’s progress in MX2 has also been sensational and to leave Round 7 with an Overall win in MX3 and Top Privateer in MX2 shows our program is really working. We are excited to finish strong this coming Sunday at QMP.”
