Joe Thurlby Claims AJMX Championship Podium For Moto1 Motorcycles KTM
The Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Junior Development Team made the 2,000 KM journey to Gillman, SA for the 2025 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championships (AJMX). The traditional week long racing format saw over 500 riders and their families from all over the Nation chasing their racing dreams in Adelaide across a mix of qualifying heats and Finals to fill the week long program.
In the 65cc 7-U10 Class, Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Junior Development rider Joe Thurlby pulled through with an incredible performance to land on the Overall Championship Podium. Putting together three incredibly consistent moto finishes, Thurlby lodged 2,2,3 Moto Scores and would not be denied the second step on the Championship podium after such a solid week.

Rowdy Rabjones had a busy week contesting two classes across the 65cc and 85cc 9-U12 age groups.
Claiming 12th Overall on the 65cc and 14th Overall on the 85cc, Rabjones had a week best finish of 8th position in the 65cc Moto’s, with strong showings in the 85cc class also to highlight his week.
Youngster Darby Clift claimed 20th Overall in the 50cc 6-U9 Class, with Moto1 Motorcycles supported rider Jack Holiday pushing through two classes across the AJMX week to claim 17th Overall in both the 85cc 9-U12 and the 65cc 10-U12 Classes.
The conclusion of the 2025 AJMX Championship also concludes the inaugural season of racing for the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Junior Development program, with a sincere thank you to all team partners, riders, families and supporters, we look forward to 2026 and upcoming news across the Moto1 Motorcycles and LCL Racing Group for the upcoming season of racing.
