Deacon Paice Signs To Winner Triumph Racing Australia For Remainder of 2025 Season

For Immediate Release

Winner Triumph Racing Australia welcomes Deacon Paice to the team for the remainder of the 2025 season. Paice will compete on the Triumph TF 250-X in the MX2 Class across the final rounds of the ProMX Championship before moving into the entirety of the Australian Supercross Championship later this year under the Winner Triumph Racing Australia banner.

Hailing from Western Australia, Paice is a former MX3 Class race winner and is currently fielding a breakout MX2 Rookie season.

With a standout 4th position Moto finish at Traralgon, paired with 5th Overall at Murray Bridge, Paice is quickly establishing himself as one of the emerging talents of the MX2 Class in 2025.

Formerly riding a privateer backed Triumph TF 250-X with support from Josh Robinson and the JR Factory services team infrastructure, the opportunity for Paice to move across to the official Triumph Racing Australia program comes as the JR Factory Services operation takes a new direction for the remainder of 2025.

Josh Robinson will continue to mechanic for Paice at Round 7 of ProMX at Toowoomba to help manage the transition period, as Paice eyes more success in his rookie season.

Paice commented on signing with Winner Triumph Racing Australia;

“I’m very excited to be riding for the Winner Triumph Australia team. I have already made the move down to Victoria and I have been staying with the Adams family so we can get straight to work”.

“Josh Robinson has been amazing to have in my corner and I’m grateful to have his continued support as a mechanic during the transition.”

“The opportunity to move teams has fit extremely well for all of us and I’m excited to finish the ProMX season strong and then focus on my rookie Supercross season with the help of the entire Winner Triumph Racing Australia Team and all of their partners”.

Joining MX2 teammates Connar Adams and Thynan Kean fresh off his Hattah Desert Race victory, along with MX1 veteran Jack Simpson, the signing of Paice signals further expansion during their inaugural year of being the official Triumph Australia backed program for Winner Motorcycles.

Team Owner Karen Adams;

“We have been steadily expanding our team program this season and achieving significant advancements with Triumph Australia, our bikes and our riders’ performance.”

“The partnership with Deacon presents an excellent opportunity to enhance our on-track presence for Triumph and our partners. We are pleased to welcome Deacon to Victoria and his Family, Mike and Nicole to the Winner team.”

“We are eager to support him in continuing his impressive rookie season in the MX2Category”.

Paice will line up in the MX2 Class at Toowoomba this Sunday 27th July on a Winner Triumph Racing Australia backed Triumph TF 250-X, alongside Connar Adams and Thynan Kean in the MX2 Class and Jack Simpson in the MX1 Class. The event is broadcast across free-to-air coverage on SBS and streaming platform SBS On Demand along with the ProMX TV livestream coverage.

Ty Kean Claims Maiden Hattah Class Victory for Winner Triumph Australia Racing

Winner Triumph Australia Racing Team rider Ty Kean has secured a milestone achievement for both himself and Triumph Motorcycles, claiming victory in the 250cc 4-Stroke Class at the prestigious 2025 Hattah Desert Race.

The Hattah Desert Race is one of Australia’s most iconic endurance events, blending the high speed red sands of the Outback with a test of physical and mechanical endurance. As a renowned crossover between ProMX and Off-Road disciplines, Hattah attracts a deep field of Motocross, Desert, and Enduro specialists all vying for class and outright honours.

For the Winner Triumph Australia Racing Team, the event marked a significant opportunity to test and prove the capabilities of the TF 250-X platform in extreme conditions.

With strategic modifications including revised gearing and an extended-range fuel tank from Safari Tanks, Kean was immediately competitive. Leveraging his ProMX speed and race craft, he delivered a faultless ride to secure both his first Hattah class victory and the first-ever Hattah win for Triumph Australia.

“I’m extremely happy to deliver this win for both myself, the Winner Team, and for Triumph Australia,” said Kean.

“ProMX has had its ups and downs this year, and honestly I didn’t have any expectations coming into Hattah other than to have fun and see what we could do with the modified bike for the desert.”

“The team did an incredible job, the bike was super competitive, and we were able to get the win!”

Team regular Jack Simpson also lined up for the Hattah Desert Race, entering under the Winner Motorcycles banner aboard a privateer entry. Having finished 3rd outright in 2024, Simpson returned to the red sands as a genuine contender for the overall win.

After qualifying in 2nd position on Saturday, Simpson ran inside the top five for the majority of Sunday’s gruelling four hour race. Unfortunately, a late race collision with a tree resulted in a minor hand injury, forcing Simpson to back off the pace. He would eventually cross the line just inside the top ten, a tough end to what had been a strong showing.

With the team’s maiden desert victory now in the books, attention shifts back to the final two rounds of the 2025 Penrite ProMX Championship. The next gate drop is set for Sunday, July 27th in Toowoomba, QLD, where the Winner Triumph Australia Racing Team looks to continue its momentum and finish the season strong.

CMC Racing Yamaha Push Through Wild Conditions in Canberra

The Caloundra Motorcycle Centre Yamaha Australia Team (CMC Racing) battled through Round 6 of the 2025 Penrite ProMX Championship at Canberra. The cold early morning hard pack track giving way to thunderstorms in the afternoon, transforming the track into a muddy and challenging final moto for the MX1 Class.

Levi Rogers again showed strong early form, qualifying 7th and making it into SuperPole, where he recorded the 10th fastest time.

In Moto 1, Rogers rode consistently to finish 9th, but the worsening conditions in the second moto saw him cross the line in 15th. His combined results earned him 11th Overall for the round, and he now holds 9th in the MX1 Championship standings.

“I’m still searching to find the spark and intensity from earlier in the season,”

“I need to get better starts and put myself in a position to not pass as many riders each moto. I’m looking forward to the QLD-based final two rounds of the Championship,” said Rogers.

In the MX2 Class, Sam Larsen had a difficult day in Canberra. After qualifying 24th, he struggled to find momentum all day, finishing Moto 1 in 25th and improving slightly in Moto 2 to take 20th, ending the round 22nd Overall.

“There’s not much to say about today honestly, I struggled and need to work on some things for the final rounds in QLD.”

 “We will be ready to go on familiar tracks to finish the season,” said Larsen.

In the MX3 Class, Lachy Roche qualified for his second consecutive championship moto’s, with new addition to CMC Racing Hayden Downie posting a career best 7th overall with his recent switch to the YZ250F.
