Winner Triumph Australia Racing Push Through Traralgon ProMX Round 4

The Winner Triumph Australia Racing Team has pushed through the challenging conditions at Traralgon, from Round 4 of the 2025 ProMX Championship. With heavy rain leading into the event, deep sandy conditions would push the riders to navigate the most technical race track of the season so far.

In the MX1 Class, Jack Simpson continues to improve across his personal comeback to ProMX racing along with developing the All-New Triumph RC-450.

With a solid start in Opening MX1 Moto, Simpson would run inside the Top Ten positions for the majority of the Moto battling with the elite factory team riders in the process. Simpson would cross the finish line in 12th position in an equal season best finish.

Moto 2 saw much of the same from Simpson before goggle issues from the relentless sandy roost at Traralgon meant he would struggle to keep pushing forward, ultimately finishing the Moto in 14th position and claiming 13th Overall from Round 4.

“Today was a mixed bag of results and progress”, said Simpson.

“Moto 1 was a highlight and I was battling inside the Top Ten where I feel I belong. Moto 2 I struggled with the roost and my goggles but that’s all a part of racing. We are making solid progress with the bike and I want to thank the Winner Triumph Racing Team for their continued support”, concluded Simpson.

In the MX2 Class, both Connar Adams and Thynan Kean showed flashes of speed and potential, but crashes and race conditions slowed their progress to points scoring positions.

Connar Adams forced a notable finish within the MX2 Final Moto, pushing forward without a left footpeg following an opening lap collision with another rider.

The Winner Triumph Racing Australia Team now focuses on Round 5 of the 2025 ProMX Championship at Warwick, QLD on June 22nd.

Rogers Looks To Rebound After Tough Round Of ProMX At Traralgon

The CMC Racing Yamaha Team have put Round 4 of the 2025 ProMX Championship in the rearview mirror following a challenging day in the wet sand of Traralgon, with MX1 Privateer stand out Levi rogers experiencing his first tough day of the season.

In the MX1 class, Rogers would Qualify for SuperPole where he would once again battle with the Factory teams and riders to log the 8th fastest time heading into the afternoons racing.

In the Opening MX1 Moto, Rogers would be slightly off the pace that has been his trademark this season, with a poor start hindering his progress, ultimately crossing the finish line in 11th position.

In Moto 2, the cold weather combined with a sore back on the rough Traralgon track left Levi with little room for sprint speed and a tough moto, where he would push to score some points in 14th position in the Moto and 14th Overall from Round 4.

“Today was frustrating to say the least and it is not the standard of riding I have set for myself or the team this season”, said Rogers.

“I struggled today and we will move past this and regroup for Warwick in a few weeks”, concluded Rogers.

In MX2, Sam Larsen would push for 17th position in Moto1 across the limited vision and heavy roost in a strong Moto finish. Charging for 20th position in Moto 2, the young QLD based rider also struggled with the challenging sandy conditions and left Round 4 with 21st Overall.

2nd Overall For Jet Alsop At Traralgon ProMX Round 4

Ride Red Honda rider Jet Alsop continues to build on consistency and momentum with another step forward, claiming 2nd Overall in the MX3 Class at Round 4 of the 2025 ProMX Championship, taking place at Traralgon, Victoria.

Hitting the track with full intentions on the day clear, Alsop would lodge the 2nd fastest time in the MX3 Group 1 Qualifying, claiming a solid gate pick in the process, crucial with the short Traralgon start straight.

A good start in the Opening Moto was met with some mistakes in the first lap, leaving Alsop with a lot of work to do charging from outside of the Top 5. Methodically passing riders on the very challenging sandy ruts of Traralgon, Alsop would cross the finish line in 3rd position.

A better opening lap in Moto 2 would see Alsop set his sights on the front and pass several front runners on his way to 2nd in the Moto and 2nd Overall on the day from Round 4.

“I’m stoked on my progress today and had a lot of fun battling up front”, said Alsop.

“I still need to work on my opening lap sprint speed but we made up solid points in the Championship today and the track was so technical and rough that leaving here with my best result of the season is a great feeling”.

“Thanks to everyone who supports our Ride Red program, we are continuing with the game plan and hitting out stride half way through the season”, concluded Alsop.

Jet Alsop now moves within 4 points of 2nd in the MX3 Class Championship, currently sitting in 3rd with 155 points.
