00 Elite Rider Training Prepared For AUSX Sprint At Adelaide
The 00 Elite Rider Training program enters Round 4 of the Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) prepared for the intense “Supercross Sprint” racing format, as Head Coach Nathan Crawford anticipates the management of tight racing and short recovery times crucial to success at Round 4.
As the routine of Supercross sets in for the Factory riders of the 00 Elite program, Arron Tanti looks to make his presence known on the SX1 podium, following another promising round at Wollongong with 5th Overall.
In SX2, Kaleb Barham also comes off a season best 5th at Round 3, with Kayden Minear aiming to return to his Opening Round form at Adelaide, where his previous heat race wins and sprint speed will shine in the spring format.
Head Coach Nathan Crawford commented on the 00 Elite program coming into Adelaide: “The past few weeks since Wollongong have been a little hit and miss with the rainy weather making it challenging in QLD for Supercross training. It’s part of the sport and we have tracks in rotation available to us along with our off the bike training program, which we have utilised leading into Adelaide.”
“The Sprint Format is something we have been anticipating and working on with the 00 Elite riders, but ultimately it doesn’t change the fundamentals of executing a good start and early track position, which is essential for Supercross success. It will be a consistent performance across all gate drops this weekend in Adelaide that will prevail for our riders.”
Across the privateer SX2, SX3 and junior CR22 85cc Cup Classes, a strong contingent of 00 Elite riders enter Adelaide with a dedicated day of racing on Sunday as the stars of their own respective show for the multi-day format.
SX3 stand out Jack Bryne moves into 5th in the Championship following Wollongong, whilst an unfortunate injury off the Motorcycle means that on the sidelines, Nixon Darragh, will not be able to repeat his podium performance from Round 3.
The Sprint Format gives an even playing field for the Junior and Development riders on the 00 Elite program to have a breakout ride and gain crucial experience in their Supercross development journey across the weekend in Adelaide.
Round 4 of the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship takes place in Adelaide as a part of the Adelaide 500 across Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November. The event will be broadcast across free-to-air coverage on KAYO Streaming in Australia and MAVTV for international audiences.

Clout Ready To Sprint For Victory At Adelaide AUSX Round 4
Luke Clout and the Empire Kawasaki Team enter Adelaide for Round 4 of the Australia Supercross Championship (AUSX) and the inaugural “Supercross Sprint” Round of the AUSX, in collaboration with the Adelaide 500 V8 Supercars event. An exciting sprint race format awaits fans, teams and riders alike as Clout looks to bridge the gap to the SX1 Championship Red Plate in Adelaide.
Following Round 3 of the Championship, Clout has been able to secure two Main Event Victories across the fluctuating race formats in AUSX and enters Adelaide 3rd in the Championship, just 10 points shy of the Red Plate.
“We have had a goal to stay in the Championship hunt through the Opening Rounds and to be the Top Australian in SX1 right now is showing that what the Team and I have created is working”, commented Clout.
“I know I’m capable of more wins this weekend in Adelaide, my starts on the KX450 have been on point and with the short races and tight track I feel this is the Round I can get an Overall Win and get right back in the contention for the Championship at Melbourne.”
In SX2, Reid Taylor comes into Adelaide with bolstered confidence after his debut in the German Supercross Championship last weekend, with the added announcement of his “Wildcard” spot at the upcoming Perth World Supercross GP.
“I’m on a roll right now with my riding and confidence, competing in Germany was a great experience and my speed was right there with the international riders. We are 4th in the SX2 points and I believe I should have more podiums on the season. I need to execute my starts and stay out of trouble in the opening laps to compete for the podium this weekend in Adelaide,” commented Taylor.
Brett Metcalfe makes his return from injury at Adelaide, where the hometown hero will no doubt be a fan favourite to the SA crowd. Marking his last professional season of competition, Metcalfe plans to go for it at the Adelaide Supercross Sprint.
“I had to be smart and sit out Wollongong, but there is no way I was missing Adelaide,” commented Metcalfe. “To have such a special event at my hometown race is a real honour and to be representing South Australia here is incredible as a part of my Final Season of professional racing.”
Across the Team Green support program, the Powersports Kawasaki mounted Zane Mackintosh in SX2 will be joined by GO24’s Mitch Norris and Joel Cigliano in SX1 to fly the Team Green flag at Adelaide.
Round 4 of the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship takes place in Adelaide as a part of the Adelaide 500 across Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November. The event will be broadcast across free-to-air coverage on KAYO Streaming in Australia and MAVTV for international audiences.

Marc-Antoine Rossi joins Red Bull KTM MXGP squad for 2025
Promising French youngster Marc-Antoine Rossi will wear Red Bull KTM Factory Racing colors in 2025 and is set to steer a KTM 250 SX-F in the FIM MX2 World Championship. Words: Red Bull KTM
The 18-year-old comes into the works outfit for what will be his second attempt at the MX2 series. He has spent much of his fledgling racing career on KTM SX machinery as he ascended through EMX European Championship competition.
Rossi made his Grand Prix debut at his home round in 2023 and impressed with 7th position overall at Villars sous Ecot. That same season Rossi confirmed 7th place in the EMX250 Championship despite missing three rounds. He shone with three moto wins among a total of six top three finishes. That form, style, speed and determination took him into MX2 for 2024 where he posted a sequence of top ten results in the first four Grands Prix of 2024 until a knee injury halted his progress.
#28 will come under the guidance of Joel Smets and the rest of the Red Bull KTM structure for the next step in his career path. He will follow in the footsteps of countrymen like Marvin Musquin, Jordi Tixier and Tom Vialle to try and excel in the orange.
The full Red Bull KTM Factory Racing line-up for 2025 in both MXGP and MX2 classes will consist of Jeffrey Herlings and Lucas Coenen riding the KTM 450 SX-F and then Andrea Adamo, Sacha Coenen, Simon Lägenfelder and Marc-Antoine Rossi with the KTM 250 SX-F.
Marc-Antoine Rossi: “I’m really happy to be back in orange and to join this crew. I’m already excited for 2025 and will be back on a bike soon and working with Joel. I’ll give everything I have for what will be a long year. I hope I can make the podium at some point next season.”
Joel Smets, Red Bull KTM Team Manager: “For many years France has had this reputation of bringing up young, skilled riders and Marc Antoine Rossi can be added to this list. He’s only 18 but has already shown great potential in EMX125 and EMX250. He then displayed bright flashes of speed and strength this year. Marc-Antoine is still so young and reminds me a lot of Tom Vialle. He not only has the same number but he has that same laidback attitude which camouflages a real ambition to work and to achieve. He is a good listener and is very keen to learn. He has time to grow and we don’t want to rush things. We believe he has a great future.”
