Homecoming Supercross for Connor Towill at Newcastle On Saturday
Connor Towill enters his long awaited hometown Supercross this Saturday November 26th at the Mcdonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle. Full of momentum and confidence after claiming the final moto win at the preceding Round in Adelaide, Connor is looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of racing in front of his hometown crowd.
“I can’t wait to get on the track at Newcastle” commented Connor.
“The Mcdonald Jones stadium is incredible and the atmosphere will be electric with the local crowd. Since the last Round at Adelaide, we have been working extremely hard with Chris Woods to continue to improve my bike set up. As Adelaide was the opening Round for us in SX3, it’s been great to have a few weeks to dial everything in before we are on the road for the final two Rounds.”
“I’m ready to pick up where I left off and that’s at the top of the podium in Adelaide”, concluded Connor.
Currently sitting in 4th position in the SX3 Class Championship, it is all to play for Connor as the gates drop on Saturday night in Newcastle.
Just one week later, Connor and the CT22 Racing program will continue onto Wagga Wagga as the chase for the Championship heats up at the international speedway for the final Round of the Australian Supercross Championship, taking place on Saturday December 3rd.
