Darci Whalley Claims Sunshine State Championship For Moto1 Motorcycles KTM

Darci Whalley has successfully wrapped up the 2024 Sunshine State MX Series MXW Class Championship in her rookie season in Senior Racing.

Whalley took the overall victory in the fifth and final Round of the Series at MX Farm and by doing so, also claimed her first Senior Class Championship for the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Team.

“It feels amazing to win my first Senior Class Championship”, said Whalley.

“After my concussion at the opening Round it has been a hard year to bounce back from that injury. All I could do was focus on myself and being the best I could be at all the Rounds of the Championship and to come out with the #1 Plate feels great”, concluded Wally. 

Whalley and the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Racing Team now move their focus to the 2nd Round of the MXW Class Championship in the ProMX Championship at Murray Bridge SA, on Sunday June 23rd.

Whalley will make her first appearance in the 2024 Championship after missing Round 1 with injury earlier in the season.
