Caleb Goullet Learns From SX1 Rookie Appearance Leading Into AUSX Round 3

Caleb Goullet aboard the JKAYS Elliot Bros Racing GasGas MC450 heads into Wollongong for AUSX Round 3 at WIN Stadium with experience and seat time as a SX1 Rookie following the Opening Rounds at Redcliffe.

After making the jump to the SX1 class for 2024, Goullet had a steep learning curve at Redcliffe for the Opening Rounds of the Championship. “We learned a lot at Redcliffe especially in regards to bike set up and suspension,” commented Goullet.

“The race motor we had built was too much inside the stadium and the technical track and big whoops all played into me not feeling comfortable at Redcliffe. We have made some changes to our set up for Wollongong and I’m excited to show what I’m capable of on Saturday night.”

Away from the track, the launch of the JKAYS Elliot Bros Racing program was a huge success with great social media and fan engagement at the event.

“Everyone knows as a privateer you need great partners to go racing and thanks to JKAYS Group and Elliot Bros I have that support in my corner. We created great content and I am looking forward to growing our presence in Wollongong for the fans, my partners and the Championship as a whole,” said Goullet.

Goullet enters Round 3 of AUSX sitting in 20th position in the SX1 Championship after making both Main Events at the Opening Rounds.

Round 3 of the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship takes place at WIN Stadium, Wollongong NSW, on Saturday November 2nd. The event will be broadcast across free-to-air coverage on KAYO Streaming in Australia and MAVTV for international audiences.
