ALSOP REMAINS CONSISTENT AND HUNGRY FOR MORE AFTER 3RD OVERALL AT WARWICK ProMX
Warwick, QLD | ProMX Round 5:
Ride Red Honda JPR Motorsports rider Jet Alsop continued his return to form with another solid result at Round 5 of the 2025 ProMX Championship, claiming third overall in the MX3 class, his fourth podium this season.
Alsop was confident early on the rough and fast Warwick circuit, qualifying 4th to secure a strong gate pick for the day’s racing.
The story of the round, however, was one of recovery. Two average starts outside the top 10 left Alsop buried in the pack, forcing him to charge through heavy roost in both motos. He pushed forward with 3-3 finishes, laying down competitive lap times but left knowing more was possible.
“Another overall podium is great for the team and myself, but I want more now and my speed shows I’m capable of fighting for wins,” Alsop said post-race.
“I need to improve my starts. We probably made the wrong call not running the paddle tyre, and that definitely hurt us on the long, loamy start straight here at Warwick.”
“We’re building something strong for the rest of the season. Big thanks to Honda, JPR Motorsports, and all of my sponsors for their support.”
With his growing pace and momentum, Alsop remains firmly in the title conversation as the championship heads into the second half of the season.
