Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Development Team rider Darci Whalley secured 6th in the 2025 MXW Class ProMX Championship at QMP, with a standout performance in the Opening Moto that saw her lead laps and compete with the elite riders at the front of the MXW field.

After achieving back-to-back SSMX MXW Class Championships in 2025, Whalley was determined to show her speed at the Pro level of MXW racing in Australia in the Championship Finale. Taking the Holeshot in the Opening Moto on Saturday, Whalley made her intentions clear, leading laps and looking comfortable out front.

A late race crash would hinder her podium chances, forcing Whalley to rebound in Moto 2 with a 5th position to secure 6th in the MXW Class Championship.

“It felt great to run up front and lead laps in the Opening Moto”.

“It’s the first time I’ve been able to showcase my speed at ProMX and I felt at home battling out front. I’m disappointed I made that mistake, but I’m continuing to learn racing at this level and it’s a great way to finish 2025 and know what I’m capable of next year”, said Whalley.

In the KTM Group 65 Futures, Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Junior Development Team riders  Joe Thurlby and Rowdy Rabjones both had strong showings at QMP, with Thurlby taking out 7th Overall at QMP and Rabjones 8th Overall.

With his performance at QMP, Rabjones was able to secure 8th in the 2025 KTM Group 65 Futures Championship.
