Career Best MX1 Moto Finish For Levi Rogers With 3rd At QMP
The Caloundra Motorcycle Centre (CMC Racing) Yamaha Team were rewarded after a season of hard work and perseverance, when MX1 Privateer standout Levi Rogers stormed to 3rd in the final MX1 Moto of the 2025 ProMX Championship.
As both a career best finish for Rogers and the Sunshine Coast based team, the celebrations coincided with a special memorial round for the late Joel Evans, where the team ran blacked out bikes in memory of the number 81.
In the MX1 Class, Rogers was strong all weekend, taking our 4th in the MX1 SuperPole session as the fastest Privateer, before putting together 6-3 Moto finishes for a season and career best 4th Overall. With a strong performance at QMP, Rogers was also able to secure 7th in the MX1 Championship for the 2025 season.
“The team and I have been working hard all year and I’m so happy to be able to finish strong like this at the end of the Championship.”
“I know my speed is there and I was really feeling confident all weekend, so to reward myself and everyone for their hard work this year feels great”, commented Rogers.
In the MX2 Class, Sam Larsen continued to persevere through what has been a challenging season, the Sunshine Coast local excited to now switch his focus to the upcoming Supercross Championship.
In the MX3 Class, the CMC Yamaha trio of team riders held a solid presence across the last few Rounds of the Championship.
Hayden Downie navigated mechanical issues in Moto 1, pushing for a day best 14th place in Moto 2, with Lachie Roache successfully Qualifying for his 4th straight MX3 Class Championship appearance to finish the season.
Returning from injury at Toowoomba, Addison Treeby was able to Qualify straight into the MX3 Championship class races with a day best 28th place in the Opening Moto. Unfortunately unable to replicate that same success at QMP, Treeby barely missed Qualifying in the highly competitive MX3 field across 2 groups of riders and will take the experience from the last 2 ProMX Rounds into 2026.
