Simpson Saves Best To Last With MX1 SuperPole Appearance At QMP

Winner Triumph Racing Australia rider Jack Simpson took a huge step forward at the Final Round of the 2025 ProMX Championship at QMP. Finding speed and intensity, Simpson was able to Qualify into the MX1 SuperPole session for the first time this season on the Triumph TF 450-RC, where he posted the 10th fastest time heading into the Championship gate drops.

In the Opening MX1 Class Moto, Simpson held great track position for the majority of the Moto, battling for 7th position and holding strong in his best performance this season. An unfortunate crash late in the Moto ended Simpson’s day, with a trip to RaceSafe to assess a badly tweaked thumb.

“Today was bittersweet as I found the speed and intensity I know I’m capable of”.

“We made some bike changes with the suspension to be firmer and it was up to me to twist the throttle and show what I’m capable of, which I was comfortable doing until the crash”.

“I want to thank the entire Winner Triumph Racing Australia Team for everything in the 2025 ProMX Championship, it’s been a great return to Professional racing in Australia for me”, said Simpson.

In the MX2 Class, new team signing Deacon Paice was unfortunately struck down with the flu and unable to compete on Sunday, whilst Thynan Kean was able to finish with another points scoring ride in 19th Overall.

Pulling double duty, Connar Adams decided to ride both classes in an Iron Man performance, where a strong points scoring performance in the Opening MX1 Moto lead to 21st Overall.

“Between my finger injury and then being sick at Toowoomba I have not had much at the races lately and I really enjoy the track at QMP, so I figured why not race both classes”.

“18th in the MX1 Moto was a season highlight for me and I really enjoyed riding the Triumph 450, it was a great way to finish the Championship”, commented Adams.

The Winner Triumph Racing Australia team now looks forward to the upcoming Australian Supercross Championship kicking off at Kayo Stadium, QLD in late October.
