Whalley and Thurlby Take Victory At SSMX Goondiwindi

Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Development Team riders Darci Whalley and Joe Thurlby have continued with their winning form at Round 5 of the Sunshine State MX Championship at Goondiwindi, whilst Rowdy Rabjones claimed 2nd Overall.

MXW Class Championship Red Plate holder Darci Whalley executed a perfect days racing, Qualifying fastest in the mornings session and posting 1-1 Moto scores to extend her Championship lead.

In the 65cc 7-U10 Class, Joe Thurlby posted 2-1 Moto scores en route to his Overall Victory whilst extending his Championship points lead, with Rowdy Rabjones completing the trio of Moto1 Motorcycles KTM podiums with 2nd Overall in 65cc 9-U12 Class.

The Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Development Team now focus on the Final Round of the Sunshine State Motocross Championships, taking place at Rockhampton on the 18th-20th July.
