Whalley Achieves Career Best MXW Class Result For Moto1 Motorcycles KTM At ProMX Round 3
Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Development Team rider Darci Whalley pushed to a career best 6th Overall at Gillman, for Round 2 of the MXW Class Championship of the 2025 ProMX schedule.
Returning to a traditional two moto format following the Opening Round international inclusion of the FIM Women’s Oceania Motocross Cup, the MXW Class resumed business as usual at Gillman, with the red sand of South Australia allowing Whalley to demonstrate her speed and intensity from the start of the day.
Posting the 6th fastest time in Qualifying, Whalley started Moto1 with a top 5 start and would battle with numerous riders to race ahead and maintain 5th place at the finish line.
Moto 2 saw much of the same from Whalley who battled hard to come home with 5-5 Moto scores on the day and 6th Overall.
“I have a lot of positives to take away from Gillman and I have been working hard to find my speed and show my potential at ProMX and I felt that this weekend we achieved that”, said Whalley.
“I struggled last year at Murray Bridge in the same conditions so to come back to the Adleaide round and have some redemption this year feels great and I’m excited for Round 3 at Toowoomba back in my home state of Queensland,” concluded Whalley.
